Beer Pong, Blended Chaos & Blind Max: How Love, Loss, and a Motorhome Built a Dream

You know how every great love story starts with candlelit dinners, long walks on the beach, and awkward first dates?

Yeah, ours started with a beer pong tournament.

And honestly? We wouldn’t change a thing.

🥴 "You had me at… bounce shot off the table and into the cup."

Nearly 15 years ago, fate (and a few red Solo cups) brought us together. Both of us had been married before — 18 years each, in fact. We both had amazing, complicated, beautiful families. And somehow, after all the ups, downs, diaper blowouts, teenage drama, and PTA meetings, we found each other.

Instant chemistry. Beer pong magic. The rest is history.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Our Wild, Wonderful, Blended Circus

Let’s break it down for you:

• Kenny: Girl dad to four beautiful daughters.

• Kalene: Mother of five — 2 boys and 3 girls.

• Together: We have 7 living children (6 girls, 1 boy), and we carry the memory of Kalene’s sweet daughter and her amazing oldest son in our hearts every single day. ❤️

Oh — and don’t forget our two gorgeous granddaughters, ages 13 and 8, who already run the world and steal our hearts on a daily basis.

🏡 From Idaho to Ohio to "Wait, We Live in New Mexico Now?"

We met in Idaho and tied the knot in 2011. For four years, Idaho was home.

But then we got a wild idea: Let’s pack up, take a leap, and move to Ohio.

Best. Decision. Ever.

Ohio gave us fresh air, endless trails, backroads that seemed to sing with the windows down, and those off-key duets we sang like nobody was watching (because, thankfully, no one was). We lived for road trips, sporting events, concerts, and the kind of freedom that made you feel 20 years younger.

Then in 2019, just before the world turned upside down, we packed up again and chased a job opportunity to New Mexico, where we’ve planted new roots. We love the sun, the food, and most of all — the opportunities it’s given us to build our next dream.

🚐 Meet the Crew: Max & Ari, Our Furry Co-Pilots

Now that all our kids are grown, we’ve earned our empty nester badges — but let’s not pretend we’re really alone. These days, we roll deep with our weekend warrior crew:

• Max: Our 11-year-old blind, diabetic dog who runs the show. Seriously, this pup has survived more than a few plot twists and still struts like he owns the campground.

• Ari: Our Maine Coon cat. A regal beast who tolerates us and probably plans our routes while we sleep.

Together, we hit the road in our 2017 Winnebago Forza 36G, chasing sunsets, hot coffee, and a few wrong turns that always turn out right.

Because we believe life isn’t just about surviving — it’s about chasing something greater. Adventure. Freedom. A business built from dreams and road maps. We wanted to create something together that wasn’t just for us — but for the grandkids, for the dreamers, and for anyone who’s ever thought, “There’s got to be more than this.”

We’re building from the ground up — in between full-time jobs, weekend travels, and Max’s insulin schedule — and loving every moment of the chaos.
